CS-S8000 is a high quality Common Main Objective (CMO) stereomicroscope comes with extreme widefield optics, coarse & fine focusing and versatile top & bottom LED illumination system. It incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality parallel stereo microscope. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this microscope exceeds all expectations. It offers high resolution and large depth of clearance within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images, super wide zoom magnification range (1:6/1:8/1:10), and large working distance. Its 20 degree inclined 360 degree swiveling binocular head ensures an easy observation. This microscope is great for many applications.

HEAD

There are two types of optical heads available:
The standard binocular head provides a 20 degree inclination and 360 degree swivel with extended eye tubes for fatigue reduced viewing.
The Tilting/Ergo binocular Head truly resolves the headaches associated with using a stereo microscope continuously. The Ergo head allows up to 0-35 degrees of tilt/positioning capability and 180 degrees of rotating capability to accommodate operators of any height or bench position of the stereo microscope.
The microscope can be converted to trinocular for microphotography by attaching a photo attachment tube (beam splitter) of either single port or double port.

EYEPIECES

High eye-point wide field eyepieces
Focusable 22mm wide-field 10X eyepieces with adjustable interpupillary distance offers high resolution with great flatness and contrast, providing Sharp stereo erect images over a super widefield of view of crystal clear original true color images. In addition, these eyepieces have built-in diopter adjustment, so the image and the reticle are brought into focus at the same time, making viewing easy, while reducing eyestrain.

ZOOM BODY

Infinity Parallel Optical System on a post stand with Built-in Common Main Objective, offers upright 3-D images that remain in focus throughout the zoom range.
CS-S8000 series features a large Zoom ratio:
CS-S8060 : 1:6, extending from 0.8X to 5X;
CS-S8080 : 1:8, extending from 0.8X to 6.4X;
CS-S8100 : 1:10, extending from 0.8X to 8X.
This gives you total magnification from 8X to 50X, 8X to 64X & 8X to 80X respectively, with standard configuration. This magnification range can be varied, depending on the combination of eyepiece and auxiliary objective used.

OBJECTIVES

Standard configurations are supplied with a plan achromatic Common Main objective 1x, which has a working distance of 78 mm. All optics have an anti-reflection coating for maximum light throughput and are anti-fungus treated.
Auxiliary objectives : 0.3x / 0.5x / 2x are available as optional, which can be used in conjunction with the common main objective to increase or decrease the magnification range.

FOCUSING

Coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanism is available for fast focusing, and lockable for longterm observation. Focusing knob with comfortable finger grip, releases the fatigue from long time operation.
The Focusing Mount travels smoothly along the optical axis and is located at a low position and is within easy reach, for comfortable operation while resting your arms on the base.

STAND

The complete optical unit of CS-S8000 is mounted on a large ergonomic stand with transmitted LED illumination.
The stage of the microscope at the base of the stand is with ø 100mm object plate and 2 object clamps.
A universal stand and an articulated arm stand without illumination are also available for configurations.

ILLUMINATION

LED illumination with the characteristics of safe, eco-friendly, less heat and long lifetime, is highly efficient and economical and is able to restore the natural color of the samples.
The transmitted (round reflecting LED-plate) and incident 3 W LED illuminations are supplied with a built-in 100-240 V power supply. Both illuminators can be used simultaneously and the light intensities can be adjusted with separate knobs.
